So I finally got the camera. The D200 is GREAT, and it was well worth the wait. Getting it here was quite stressfull, with the courier taking ages, and then handing it to the postie, who dropped it in my shed beside the tractor (in the open, yes) thoough it clearly said Signature required. This is Northland!!! After 17 years I'm still not used to it. Anyway, so I made a trip to the westcoast to try the camera, and of course it was BLUE sky when I left and of course the sky had turned to custard when I got there. Ok, so after agonizing for weeks, I finaly did it. I ordered the Nikon D200 this morning. The final straw was when I found out that the picture gallery I want to get into, accepts only digital pics larger than 9 meg. So goodbye to my beloved D70, you've been a good friend. Of course I haven't got the money, in case you wondered. But the only thing I want to do with my life right now is travel and shoot. Whether I'll ever be good enough to at least cover the costs, I don't know. But I guess, I'll find out.
